US Judge Overturns Cuba Book Ban
I'm glad to see that US District Judge Alan Gold sees this as a major-league First Amendment issue, and that he decided to give the ACLU time to file suit on the issue.
Kids and well, all minors in school, shouldn't be denied their constitutional rights just because a parent or educator has a problem with objectionable material. They need the same leeway as the rest of us -- to divulge the information and form their own educated opinions minus any pressure or biases from their elders and peers.
