Yeah the economy helped things along but really, this campaign was a failure on almost every level.
Going negative and choosing Palin cost them this election, not just negative economic news.
I do want to thank John McCain for one thing.
Choosing Palin made the election a laugh riot thanks to the likes of Tina Fey.
