I too don't by the "Sarah Palin is a champion of special needs children" argument that the McCain campaign has been using lately.
I, being the father of a special need child have seen severe cuts in services and funds for such children during the years the Republicans controlled Congress.
Palin made similar cuts using her veto powers when she was in capacity as the Governor of Alaska.
Republicans have been anti-stem cell research for generations and use it as a "hot button" issue for many campaigns.
The same research that could save millions, they have attacked as being anti-God and have sought to cut millions for said research.
