BREAKING: Just moments ago, Governor Quinn signed the bill making marriage equality the law of the land in Illinois

BREAKING: Just moments ago, Governor Quinn signed the bill making marriage equality the law of the land in Illinois!
Illinois becomes to latest state in the nation to get out of the bedroom and just allow people to live lives how they please.
Plus, bi and gay couples now enjoy the same protections as their male/ female married counterparts in regard to insurance, hospital visits, end of life, ect..
I honestly don't know why every state doesn't follow their lead and just let people live, freely and openly. however they feel to live.

In this country, every American is supposed to be entitled to he pursuit of happiness, not just the straight ones...

Severe Storms Ravage Greater Chicago Area, Soldier Field Evacuated, Awesome, Loyal Fans Refuse To Seek Shelter?

Bear's Fans, many without direct knowledge of strong storms with the potential to spur multiple tornado outbreaks were asked to evacuate the stands for safety reasons: (pft link)
With storms approaching the Chicago area, fans are being asked to leave the seating area at Soldier Field and to enter covered concourses inside the stadium, the Bears said on Twitter.
Heavy rains and strong winds have hit the Chicago area on Sunday. According to WBBM-TV, a heavy storm cell that has produced a tornado is slated to be tracking through Chicago at about 2:31 p.m. Eastern.
Of course, many being loyal football fans and just proudly flaunting the tough, Chicago tough guy mentality, refused to leave the stands for their own safety and had to be encouraged by stadium security and police at the venue:

(pic and tweet from fan watching the game, incensed after watching coverage of fans refusing to move to safety?)

(cell phone pic from someone in the Raven's organization who                                     posted this to the teams  Twitter feed)

I agree with the sentiments of many on Twitter and the various sports blogs I have been perusing looking for updates and opinions on what is ongoing in this game.
Does a fan's love for a team equal giving up your life? Please Bear's fans, let put this into perspective.

If the game gets rescheduled. those who laid down a mint will be the first one to get new tickets for the make-up game.
If the game was restarted later, as it was, the same idea is in play.

I love the dedication and heart of Chicago sport's fans as I was born in a northern suburb of Chicago myself, (Great Lakes Naval Base) but there must be reason or limits to that Chicago, tough guy attitude.
I often dial into it and use it without thinking as I have taken the "in your face approach" dealing with difficult people and situations recently, but I, like the teams you love, would like to see you live to see another day and be able to go home to your loved ones at the end of the day.
