Walmart has a huge image problem with Thanksgiving, Black Friday coming!

People everywhere are getting fed up with the super store giant trying to spin its lovable image will its owner rake in Billions of the backs of over worked workers making slave wages.

Slave labor in China helping slave labor in America be held down.
The whole situation is uncanny and iconic in itself.

And, the suits at Walmart wonder why same store sales are down s much as 10% at some sores.
Maybe it's the fact, people don't like the way you do not pay your employee's a liveable wage and are voting with their dollars.
The best thing you can do to a gigantic welfare queen like Walmart is vote with your hard earned dollars and make your purchases else where.

Even do as many are suggesting online and boycott Walmart Black Friday to really send the message home!

Wal-Mart Collects Goods For Its Own Employees Now?

Wal-Mart is defending a Thanksgiving food drive that an Ohio store set up for its employees, saying workers there are “outraged” that their act of generosity is being twisted out of context.

If you've yet to see this, apparently, this store in Canton, Ohio, has been running a food drive for its employees by its employees for years. And supposedly, the associates are OK with that.

Wouldn't they be more OK with their employer paying them a living wage so they wouldn't need to help their fellow associates? Wal-Mart does have the highest number of employees on government assistance, after all.

Some would agree:

But the employee who snapped the photos saw the food drive as proof the company has failed to pay its employees substantial wages, said a representative for OUR Walmart.

"As Wal-Mart workers, we do come together and support each other, but we shouldn't have to collect food from or for each other when our employer is making $17 billion in profits. Wal-Mart should publicly commit to pay us $25,000 a year," said OUR Walmart's Tiffany Beroid. "We don't want handouts, we want an employer that pays us enough to cover Thanksgiving dinner for our families.”

Tornado Damage 11/17/2013 - Kokomo Indiana, House in the Middle of the Road?

(Amazing  picture from Kokomo Indiana where a house lies in the middle of a road.)
The amazing power and destruction of mother nature is something else. I am a huge weather guy and love all things science, but the destructive side of huge weather events is something I'm not super fond of.
Like everything in life, there is bad with the good in life, but the pictures and stories I'm seeing right now are outright heart breaking and saddening.
The good thing is, people living in the region do come together and a true sense of community spirit comes out when these disasters happen.
I am, truly thankful for that very spirit of humanity and helping others in this very much time of distress, peril and need...

Paul Krugman - Republican Party Hot on Furthuring the Suffering of the Miserable! (Why?)

I love people who tell it how it is, and Paul Krugman never minces words or candy coats anything.

The Republican Party went from a labor centered party in the 50's and 60's to a party that favor's big business, the ultra wealthy and those fueled with hate.

My question is, who in the late 60's and early 70's hijacked your party and who is going to step up and bring the party back to the middle of the political spectrum.

Extremism, or the Tea Party aka Pat Robertson bullshit has gotten the GOP brand nowhere and even long time Republican friends of mine are disgruntled and disillusioned with what your party has become.

I do believe a guy like Chris Christie is a step in the right direction, but a GOP leader in the House must emerge that is willing to take control of the radicals and whip them into order and stop their outlandish antics.
The whole, even bad press is good press thing might go well for the Hollywood scene, but it's a nightmare on the hill for a party clinging to hopes of stopping a Dem takeover of Congress as a whole.

GOP, do yourself a favor, I bet John Boehner, Speaker of the House from Ohio is a great guy, but he is not the man to make this miracle happen. Your party needs a strong leader, that will stand up to the fringe elements in your party and rally the troops when needed.

Truly, a guy who cries on 60 minutes, is not that man...

OBAMA WINS OHIO!

NBC just called Ohio for Obama.

This is a very crucial win for Obama.

McCain can't win without Ohio's 20 electoral votes.

I hear the fat lady warming up in the rafters.
