Ban On Children's Book About Cuba Goes To Court
Wow, even school-aged children don't have First Amendment rights anymore.
One over-zealous school board member, probably a conservative Republican, believes the book is "communist propaganda," and the book gets banned from school library shelves.
Whatever happen to the day when those in the school systems were encouraged to think for themselves, disseminate from many texts, and form opinions of their own?
