This whole "Joe the plumber" thing or Plumbergate is a freak'in joke.

Countdown Campaign Comment on the Ashley Todd racist hoax: Senator McCain, Speak Up and Lead!
OLBERMANN: Finally, a "Campaign Comment" about the fraudulent race attack claim since acknowledged and recanted by a John McCain campaign volunteer in Pennsylvania. You know the story well, by now. It's a sad and demoralizing tale of a woman who could be summarized by the awful term B actress. Ashley Todd was not sexually assaulted by a big black man. He did not carve the letter B on her face to punish her for supporting John McCain.
It apparently never dawned on her it resembled less a cut than an abrasion done by a weapon no more sinister than a nail file. She was not even at the ATM where she claimed the attack took place. It apparently never dawned on her that the machine had security video and she would not be on it. And clearly, somewhere in her mind was a calculation that a story like this one with layer upon layer of racial threat could be some kind of game changer for the presidential candidate she worked to get elected in at least two states for at least two months. Her saga is pathetic. She now claims mental illness. If this too is not true, Miss Todd might think she's pulling another fast one over on the rest of us. In fact her claim seems to be accurate, whether she knows it or not.

Countdown- Palin Wants To Help Special Needs Kids By Doing Away With Science
I too don't by the "Sarah Palin is a champion of special needs children" argument that the McCain campaign has been using lately.
I, being the father of a special need child have seen severe cuts in services and funds for such children during the years the Republicans controlled Congress.
Palin made similar cuts using her veto powers when she was in capacity as the Governor of Alaska.
Republicans have been anti-stem cell research for generations and use it as a "hot button" issue for many campaigns.
The same research that could save millions, they have attacked as being anti-God and have sought to cut millions for said research.

Keith Olbermann - Control your campaign, Senator!
John McCain and his entire campaign staff deserve to be blasted like this by Olbermann. People at several campaign rallies have went ballistic and shouted out things like "kill him" (referring to Obama), "terrorist," and etc. Neither campaign staff, McCain, or Sarah Palin will say anything to these people. They seem to publicly defend the practice, and then by their collective silence, encourage it.
Honestly, if pure hate and racism are the marks of your flailing campaign, you have serious issues. You need to just give up and call it a day. Escape from the process with what little dignity you have left, still intact.
