Gertrude Baines, 115, died at a Los Angeles home for the elderly. The death moved the Line of Oblivion forward to May 10, 1895, the birth date of 114-year-old Kama Chinen. Chinen, a Japanese woman, now holds the title of the world's oldest person. Baines, who's father had been a slave, made headlines when she voted for US President Barack Obama in November 2008.
