Judiciary Committee Chairman Arlen Specter (R-Pa.) Preparing Bill To Sue Bush
Good, it's about time.
No sitting president can ignore legislation as he sees fit. By doing so, Bush negates the power of Congress and essentially takes away the entire system of checks and balances. The signing statements act like a fatal disease that further erodes away the separation of powers between the different branches of our gov't.
