The Innocence Project of Texas, a legal center that conducts DNA tests for Texas inmates, is losing the support of the foundation that funded those tests, which is closing after falling victim to Bernie Madoff's investment scam. Since 2001 in Dallas County, the convictions of 20 men have been tossed aside by state district judges based on DNA testing, the most exonerations of any state.
