Here's a bit of odd news from right here at home in Indianapolis:
Late Tuesday, a Marion County judge issued a temporary restraining order against Marion County Democratic Party. Republicans say party activists were breaking state election laws.
In the late afternoon hearing, Republicans showed photos taken outside a 30th and Illinois polling place.
"There were persons handing bagged lunches to voters before they voted and after they voted which according to Indiana criminal statutes is a Class D felony for providing any type of implied enticement to vote for anybody," said Mike Murphy, Republican Party chairman for Marion County.
Republicans charge somebody sent an illegal audio message over the police and fire pager system urging officers to vote Democrat.
The Democrats refuted the charges in the hearing, saying it's unclear what was in those bags handed out at the polling place and also unclear who accessed the Mecca system to place that voting message.
Republicans say they'll hand over their information to local and federal prosecutors.
Well, there's quite a few upsets here locally, so expect some sort of lawsuit, outrage, rioting, recount...whatever...from the RNC.
