Is this the October surprise Karl Rove is openly gloating about?
I hope this is the October surprise that never happens.
This would be another questionable event on parr with the Attacks on Pearl Harbor and most recently, the 9/11 attacks.
Another who knew what and who had the most to gain by allowing such an attack to happen again.
I know this, Neo-cons have to qualms about the murder of thousands to further their agenda.
They have shown this time and time again.

Heard through different sources on the internet that there will be a sinking of a aegis class carrier (not sure of the term here or even if I got it right since I am not military) in the straights of hormuz and it will be blamed on the Iranians and that will be the justification for attacking Iran. Supposedly they are willing to sacrifice 5,000 sailors to cover for their attack on Iran.
If they do this and we do nothing at that point with advance warning as we have been getting, then we truly deserve everything we get. Even at my age I will have to take a stand and do something besides just talking. Since I am old enough then its a good way to go since I am nearing that time of my life anyway. LOL

On Friday, May 20, 2005, I foresaw the possible sinking of a Navy aircraft carrier off the coast of Iran.
The carrier is traveling at flank speed hundreds of miles south of Iran in the Arabian Sea. A small submarine beneath the fleet releases a stealthy torpedo which hits the bottom of the carrier and punches a sizable hole, nearly the full beam of the ship. The nuclear core was breached. The carrier goes down in minutes killing 5,000 to 8,000 sailors. The sinking is blamed on Iran. Iran would have nothing to do with it. This is a potential provocation for starting a war with Iran.
And the possibilty that the military ordered by the Neo-cons has already battle tested such a scenario for future use.. (scary stuff if you ask me..)
The retired aircraft carrier USS America is on the bottom of the Atlantic Ocean, sunk by the Navy in a series of explosive tests that upset some veterans.
The 84,000-ton, 1,048-foot warship that served the Navy for 32 years rests about 60 miles off the coast and more than 6,000 feet down, according to Pat Dolan, a spokeswoman for Naval Sea Systems Command.
She did not give a location, but the Navy previously said the explosions would take place off North Carolina.
Dolan said the America went down May 14, finally flooded after the series of explosions over 25 days. No announcement was made at the time.
Dolan did not immediately return a telephone message left Friday by The Associated Press.
No warship this size or larger had ever been sunk, and plans to sink the America caused controversy.
"Not a day goes by that I don't think about it," said Lee McNulty, president of the USS America Foundation, which wanted to turn the ship into a museum. "Of all the carriers, that one should have been saved, just for the name America."
The America launched warplanes during the Vietnam War, the 1986 conflict with Libya, the first Gulf War, and over Bosnia-Herzegovina in the mid-1990s.
The Navy said in March that the explosive tests would provide valuable data on survivability for the next generation of aircraft carriers, which are now in development.
This will be another crime enacted against American citizens if this becomes a reality.
I hope for the world's sake and for the soldiers involved, it doesn't.
This whole story and things like Pearl Harbor and 9/11 really show how far the Cons are willing to go to get what they want.
Murdering 5-8,000 sailors on a carrier is just all in a days work for moving the entire Neo-con agenda light years forward.
I will go on the record and state the fact that even though I have read up on this,
I would be shocked and horrified if this action is allowed to move forward.
It would be the lowest of lows for political based actions to justify another war.
Another war-crime from an presidential administration that makes such crimes look so passe.
