"Yesterday, New Jersey announced that the state will not apply for federal abstinence-only sex education funding next year because of new restrictions from the federal government. Under the new rules, New Jersey teachers would not be allowed to talk about contraception in the classroom and would be required to say that sex within marriage is the 'expected standard of human sexual activity.' "
