Think Progress has a great post about how the Bush Administration's invasion of
Iraq and the uprising by insurgents actually got worse after we occupied the country.
They even have video of both going on the Sunday political shows and lying through their teeth about the truth now contained in the National Intelligence Estimate available here.
Check it out, it's nice to see Frick and Frack (Cheney and Bush) get caught with their hands in the cookie jar again.

It just doesn't hold water, as far as I'm concerned. The terrorists attacked us and killed 3,000 of our citizens before we started the freedom agenda in the Middle East.

RUSSERT: Here's what the American people said in a recent poll. Is the U.S. involvement in Iraq or Afghanistan creating more terrorists or eliminating terrorists? And look at that. Overwhelmingly, 54 percent, clear majority, believe we are creating more terrorists.

That's the huge problem here.
They live and die by spin and lies.
Eventually the lies take on a life on their own and they lose track of the crap spewing out of their collective mouths.
This time, they tripped up and got caught red handed.
