As good as this sounds, the sad thing is that he may have been forced to by someone else accept responsibility or it automatically falls on him, anyway, so it was just a matter of time before he gave his speech. Also, from reading the article, it's nice to know that heckling and head-shaking among opposing political parties happens everywhere.

Hizbollah declares "strategic" victory over Israel
Hizbollah chief Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah said on Monday his guerrillas had achieved a "strategic and historic victory" over Israel and that it was the "wrong time" to publicly discuss disarming the group.
Now I know it's been said that the Lebanese people adore you, but really, saying that may make you feel special, but it's sure to further piss off Israel and its allies (the Bush Administration, for example).
He said teams from Hizbollah would start from Tuesday repairing homes damaged by Israeli strikes and said the guerrilla group would pay one year's rent and the cost of furniture to every owner of about 15,000 destroyed homes.
Now that's nice, if it happens, and if it does happen, it's still ten times better than what our lousy government has done for the victims of Hurricane Katrina.
