More Primary Results: Lieberman Is Gaining And McKinney Is Still Behind

New results:

*with 76.87% of precincts reporting...Lieberman -- 48.24%, Lamont -- 51.76%
*with 35% of precincts reporting...McKinney -- 38.5%, Johnson -- 61.5%

Well, the Lieberman-Lamont battle is heating up, but it should be safe to say that McKinney's career is finished. There are claims that her name was dropped from the ballot, along with other voting problems in her district. Who knows if any of that affected this. I'm more willing to bet that the drama that surrounded her earlier this year is what affected this race.

Also, oddly enough, from RedState, the Connecticut GOP will announce their support for Lieberman's 3rd party bid should he lose the primary. Now that's really interesting. Worried about Lamont, are we? Or more worried that your candidate has a gambling problem, and that might not set well with voters?

Or perhaps Joe finally received his "Honorary Republican" badge in the mail.
