Will wonders never cease? Today, DeLay vowed to get his name removed from the November ballot so the GOP would have a chance to field a write-in candidate in an attempt to keep that seat in the House. Remember, the ruling came down that he must remain on the ballot.
Tom left these words of wisdom:
Buffeted by scandal, DeLay said his June 9 resignation from Congress was "irrevocable" and maintained that he's no longer a Texan.
"As a Virginia resident, I will take the actions necessary to remove my name from the Texas ballot. To do anything else would be hypocrisy," DeLay said in a statement.
What! Tom DeLay...a hypocrite?? Say it ain't so!
