One day after Afghan President Hamid Karzai made an impassioned plea for American-led forces to do more to avoid killing civilians in their fight against the Taliban, a NATO air strike killed as many as 33 civilians in southern Afghanistan, Afghan and U.S. officials said Monday.
******Things like this will go a long way to win the hearts and minds of those involved in the "war on terror", not.
I understand that civilians will die in any war but 33 on one strike is a bit over the top.
Does the end justify the means, I really wonder?******
