President Bush And His Team Are Focusing On The Fall Midterm Elections As The Best Chance To Salvage His Presidency; Good Luck And Good Riddance.

With the rhetoric against Iran hitting a all-time high, 70% of the country hating Bush, North Korea gearing for a missile launch, and rising oil prices, one would think one of the Bush White House's top priorities would be one of the above.

And much to my dismay, they would be so wrong.

The Bush administration is focusing soley on the late fall elections and saving their own collective asses.

A Democrat takeover of Congress guarantees Bush's "lame duck" status and that heads will finally roll.

Why again are the corrupt Republicans so scared of accountability?

Confronting the worst poll numbers seen in the West Wing since his father went down to defeat, President Bush and his team are focusing on the fall midterm elections as the best chance to salvage his presidency and are building a campaign strategy around tax cuts, immigration and national security.

Modern history offers no precedent of a president climbing from a hole as deep as the one Bush finds himself in, and White House strategists have concluded that no staff shake-up or other quick fix will alter their trajectory. In the sixth year of his tenure, they said, Bush cannot easily change the minds of voters whose impressions are fully formed

I'm glad to see the presidency has been put on hold, and we are absolutely sure there is no sense of leadership what-so-ever coming out of the big white house on Pennsylvania Ave.

At least now, what we have always thought about the Bush "blind leading the blind" administration has come true. These guys honestly don't have a pulse, and they show again that cheap public relations stunts (Operation Bush In Buggy, Mission Accomplished Banner) are more important than rolling up their sleeves and actually practicing governing a country falling to shambles.

Again, "Operation Extreme Redundancy," or otherwise known as the Bush administration, is an extreme success. [sarcasm]
