Uniformed member of the military intentionally violating the law!

The RNC, like a comatose patient looking for signs of life, has tapped active military personnel to speak at Republican events which is a serious violation of military law and regulations.

For the politicians, they get a toy to tout in front of donors.

For the lucky soldiers, they get the gift that keeps on giving: a court martial and possible dishonorable discharge.

The clank of silverware echoed above the polite dinner conversation about topics such as fiscal discipline, permanent tax cuts and the war in Iraq when more than 250 Republicans gathered in Fort Collins on Friday night for the Larimer County GOP Lincoln Day Dinner.

At the event, uniformed members of the military were passed around like expensive china, with everyone taking a gander.

You have to give high regard to Rep. Marilyn Musgrave (R-CO) and whomever chaired this event for encouraging this vile misconduct and putting these soldiers' careers on the line.

It's nice to see again how much the GOP really cares about those brave men and women in uniform.

I guess they will sell their souls--or a soldier's--for partisan gain.
