Kaiyan SuperTyphoon in Phillipines. Largest Tropical Storm of All Time!

 I feel bad for these people left to die and suffer. We can drop bombs from drones, but not boots on the ground or care packages to help those suffering?

The all amazing power of mother nature and the sadness of over 1200 dead to date.
I see the images in these screen caps and I often wonder why local governments don't do more to get these people to higher ground and safety.

Then I remember, I'm a American and we created the whole, "let the poor and downtrodden die for the benefit of those better off", mindset.

Oh yeah, that's right, one nation under God when it's truly convenient to do so?
