SNAP cuts set to take effect Friday, November the 1st could affect millions of Americans, including 20 million children.
I really hope, as a past registered Democrat voter here and now proud, independent, that those loyal to a fault voters on both sides of the isle take a long look at legislator's on the hill that sold them down the river.
While they (Congress, the President, Lobbyists) will be enjoying huge lavish meals, many on the taxpayer's dime, 47 million plus American's will lose an average of 16 meals next month and thanks to a swell of people going to an already over stressed food bank system, there will be no holiday meal(s) for them.
This will hit hard at home for Tea-Partier's, Dems and Republicans alike.
I just want to take the time to thank the Republican controlled House in Congress for doing what they do best. Protecting your rich, personal wealthy and corporate base, while selling short many of the voters from your red states that draw more benefits from the system per-capita than your state pays in, in federal tax dollars.
I want to thank the Democratic party controlled Senate, for using you base to keep some semblance of control, while selling out the core of your constituents and turning a blind eye to your starving base.
And finally, I want to thank President Obama for failing to live up to his campaign promises of protecting a much needed social safety net and throwing millions of those who put him in power, under the bus.
"You all have failed!"
People will suffer, starve and die, and I truly believe none of you could care less....
