Oh Good God, Quayle, of all people, has advice for Sarah Palin.
"I basically said look, just be yourself. You were selected by John McCain because of who you are and what you have done, and don't let them take anything away from you," Quayle said.
Quayle was in Indianapolis Wednesday campaigning for a former aide, Greg Zoeller, who is the Republican candidate for Indiana attorney general. He says he sees parallels between the 1988 campaign and this year's race.
The former Indiana senator says both he and Palin were not well-known when picked for the national ticket and both faced criticism that they didn't have enough experience for the job.
Oh, yes. This is definitely shades of the Bush/Quayle ticket. Intelligent Man's party picks a braindead puppet as a voice who'll push the party's agendas and a parrot who'll keep repeating what Intelligent Man has already said.
Also, Quayle has uttered some real doosies in his time, and we know all about Palin. However, between the two, who do you think is the smarter one?
