He really hit the nail right on the head here with these points and comments. The major cable news networks, including CNN and Fox News, are more concerned about creating news and sensationalism rather than actually reporting the news.
This is one of the sole reasons why I take a pass on corporate news outlets anymore and try to disseminate the news from trustworthy online resources and raw news feeds (AP, Reuters. etc.). I really don't care to watch a newscast or read a paper/magazine where the editor/producer is more concerned with swaying public opinion than just laying the facts on the table and letting you form an opinion of your own.
