Now granted, I know that Senator Barack Obama is a rising star in the Democratic Party, but this screw-up is simply moronic at best. Especially given the fact that the press is going to be in the middle of all of this and also around the entrances and exits of major press events.
There's no better way to make a point about the environment and global warming than to hop into a gas guzzling SUV right after your event is done.
This is very disappointing, but politics aside, this is really typical of most politicians today: do as I say, not as I do.
In the end, they all are flaming hypocrites, and they will sell their soul to get what they want regardless of the cost to the voters they represent.

He says part of the blame for the world's higher temperatures rests on gas guzzling vehicles. Obama says consumers can make the difference by switching to higher mileage hybrids.
Today the Senator said, "It would save more energy, do more for the environment and create better world security than all the drilling we could do in Alaska."
