Rumsfeld Makes Surprise Visit To Iraq While Iraq Gunmen Seize 24 People, Killing 20
Just another day in paradise?
Probably at the same time that Rummy was holding a well crafted, to the script press release on how peaceful Iraq is and gloating about amazing progress, gunmen are driving through Baghdad seizing and killing civilians.
I think they need to retool their Iraq spin machine a bit.
Maybe more of the "mission accomplished" banners plus a hint of Bret Hume on Fox News explaining why the kidnapping and murder of innocent civilians in Iraq is a good thing and less, real life surprise press moments.
It's quite obvious the truth of Iraq is a much deadlier and horrific scene then the one the administration wants to paint for the world's eyes to see.
