Well, there's been a lot of news about Bush here in the last few hours. We have:
1. Lebanese PM: Bush promised he would pressure Israel to stop attack
Well, this could be a part of that whole "Condi put the pressure on Israel, and they told her to STFU" rumor which is circulating right now. Or Bush lied. Not too shocked, either way.
2. Bush rejects Lebanese call for cease-fire
He also denied that the whole promise thing, saying that Israel should just try limiting civilian casualties as their army steps up the attacks.
And finally:
3. White House: Bush contacts other leaders, not Israel, on conflict
Why don't you try talking to Israel? You know, instead of kissing the PM's ass?
