Bush defuses tension at German news conference with gentle jibes
The headline is misleading. He really didn't diffuse a damn thing--instead he probably made everything worse with his pig joke answers to almost every question he was asked. Germans must think our president is a total boob, and they'd be right. Our president is supposed to represent us by using class, intelligence, and charm; he's not supposed to act like he's rehearsing for Amateur Night at the local comedy club.
What a disgrace.
