Airstrikes Hit Beirut; At Least 8 Die in Haifa

This is just destined to become the WWIII people have talked about for years. Hezbollah guerrilla soldiers aren't backing down; Syria says they haven't yet attacked Israel, but it's difficult to believe anything they say when there are rumors about them stepping up their ammunition stockpiles; and we can't even get Israel to "tone down" their attacks, as now it's being reported that 16 Lebanese civilians--mostly children--are dead thanks to an Israeli airstrike...their cars shot as they were trying to flee a village that had received evacuation orders from Israel. If the Middle East were a story, I'd say we're almost at the climax, and things are about to explode. Perhaps literally.
