To indict or not to indict...is Karl Rove being indicted today, sometime next week, or maybe even never?
Some prosecutors believe that the silence from Special Prosecutor Patrick Fitzgerald doesn't go well for Rove, in the end.
Will indictments come soon? Who knows...the only thing we do know is that the investigation on and focus of Karl Rove continues to move forward.
MSNBC's coverage of the CIA leak case continued Wednesday with new suggestions that presidential adviser Karl Rove may yet be indicted. The indictment of 'Bush's Brain' seemed imminent after reports from MSNBC and the Washington Post indicating that the Rove camp expected a decision earlier this month -- but it has now been 28 days since Rove testified for a fifth time before the grand jury investigating the outing of CIA officer Valerie Plame.
MSNBC's David Shuster says former federal prosecutors believe the silence from Special Prosecutor Patrick Fitzgerald doesn't bode well for Rove.
Honestly, I think we are seeing such a long delay because this case involves much bigger fish than Karl Rove. I think Fitzgerald may be going after more high profile targets like Vice President Dick Cheney and maybe even President Bush.
I also think the Rove camp may be trying to secretly cut a deal that avoids "Turd Blossom" from going to jail for flipping on his former employers.
Who knows in the end, I guess.
Come on, Fitz, the whole world is your audience, and we are waiting with anticipation for the other shoe to drop on this disastrous administration.
