Arizona posse to arrest illegal immigrants; "a posse of 100 volunteers and sheriff's deputies will patrol the Phoenix area and arrest any illegal immigrants."

A House committee is questioning Exxon Mobil about a retirement package given to its former chairman, Lee Raymond; well, it's nice that the House notices that Raymond's package is "an exorbitant payout," but how will this get people lower prices at the pump?

Elizabeth Dole is warning us that the Democrats taking over Congress in the fall could have disastrous effects on the "war on terror," and they might oh noes!!! even impeach Bush; Mrs. Dole, do the country a favor--shut the hell up. I think that nothing can be as disastrous as what's going on in this country right now. Look who's in charge of this mess.

Rumsfeld gets heckled by--of all people--a former CIA analyst while giving he was delivering a speech at the Southern Center for International Studies.

The Senate approved the $109 billion spending bill today, ignoring Bush's veto threats; but that's OK because Bush's buddies in Congress have come to the rescue to defend him and damn themselves.

Oil is now under $70 a barrel; it went down a whopping $1.90...yippee, aren't you excited?

Another attack at the video game industry...this isn't good: "The makers of combat video games have unwittingly become part of a global propaganda campaign by Islamic militants to exhort Muslim youths to take up arms against the United States."
