The South Dakota abortion ban passed by the 2006 Legislature "is the wrong approach to reducing unintended pregnancies," former South Dakota Attorney General Roger Tellinghuisen said Tuesday. 37,846 residents seemed to agree, and now the people will vote on the abortion ban bill this fall.

Al Gore's environmental movie "An Inconvenient Truth" is averaging $70,000 plus per screen. I guess some people do actually care about the environment.

Judge throws out Saddam co-defendant. The disturbance came after the defense witness alleged that chief prosecutor Jaafar al-Moussawi tried to pay him to make up testimony against Saddam and his seven co-defendants in the trial. Wow, the Iraqi justice system now mirrors the U.S. system with corruption and money buying a person's innocence or guilt.
