The Evening Dinner Quickie.
Concern is building over a possible US strike against Iran; will they or won't they? I'm betting they are because if they don't, there's speculation overseas that Israel will.
Deputy Secretary of State Robert Zoellick says Taiwan's independence means war for America; he "denied that China had any influence over the decision not to let Chen's plane make a stopover in New York or San Francisco while returning to Taiwan from a visit to Latin America this week"...right.

Bush sees Gulf Coast "whole again" -- eventually; he was talking in Mississippi, about the state of Mississippi...what about the other states--oh, like Louisiana for instance--that suffered from Katrina, too, asshat? How about the progress in those states since their help from the government evaporated?
NY World Trade Center rebuilding chief quits; the guy's 84, Pataki and Bloomberg...let him spend time with his family already.
Former world heavyweight boxing champion Floyd Patterson is dead at 71; RIP.
US government is urged to work from home in case of pandemic; it's nice to know that no one is set up to do this if the need should arise.
Republican Party Chair Ken Mehlman comes out of the closet--as heterosexual; insists that "those stories did a number on my dating life for six months".
Senate leaders revive immigration bill; where's that poster of the guy saying, "Oh jeez...not this shit again!" when you need it?
