The Evening Pre-Blogger Outage Update.
(People using the Blogger platform have yet another scheduled "outage" for 6PM Eastern tonight--thousands of hamsters running on little wheels must have died at once, creating a power surge and the loss of our server databases; yay for us!)
*New Orleans Mayor Ray Nagin is to face challenger Mitch Landrieu in a run-off after a mayoral poll considered crucial to the hurricane-hit city's future, return of the chocolate city?
*Democrats hope to divide GOP over stem cells; the GOP are doing good at infighting on their own right now.
*Difficulties are still looming with new Medicare drug plans and only expect to grow as crucial deadline nears.
*GOP Senator Mike DeWine is running scared in Ohio; worried much about low Bush approval ratings, Mike?
*Enron Founder Kenneth L. Lay says he's a optimistic thief, not a dishonest one.
*Democrats suggest double standards on leaks; you leak, I leak, we all leak.
*Candidates ask that race be left out of runoff; who made the chocolate city remarks again?
*On tape, Bin Laden (Karl Rove?) warns of long war; funny how these things come to light when the administration is in the dumps...must be a coincidence.
*Ed O'Keefe writes a telling piece about the California governor's political future, and Arnold responds, "I will be back!"
