I think either GW and his administration are trying for the "Genius World Record for Lowest Presidential Polling Ever," or they are trying to justify building a new basement in the White House.

ATLANTA, GA, United States (UPI) -- Fewer than a third of U.S. voters approve of the job President George Bush is doing, with just 32 percent support in a CNN poll published Tuesday.

Contacted by telephone Friday through Sunday, 60 percent of 1,012 voters disapproved of Bush`s performance, and 8 percent had no opinion.

The Opinion Research Corp., poll had a margin of error of three points, CNN said.

One year ago, a CNN/USA Today/Gallup poll showed 48 percent saying they approved and 49 percent saying they disapproved.

If his poll numbers sink any lower, they will need that basement.

His polling numbers are making Nixon's look good right about now.
