A newly retired Supreme Court Justice called out GOP conservative critics of the court Thursday.
Newly retired Supreme Court Justice Sandra Day O'Connor took on conservative Republican critics of the courts in a speech Thursday. She told an audience at Georgetown University that Republican proposals, and their sometimes uncivil tone, pose a danger to the independence of the judiciary, and the freedoms of all Americans.
Hello, is anyone listening anymore? A former Supreme Court justice is saying freedom is in danger and the independence of the court is in jeopardy, I would take notice. People should be protesting in the streets. Using visible, legal ways of civil disobedience? You know?
Why are the majority of Americans sitting on their hands while their rights are being sapped away in the shadow of the night under the precursor of the "war on terror?"
