The "us versus them" political game is in full swing.
Several states are passing glaring anti-abortion initiatives in what seems to only be a gift for politicians running in the usual "very easy to win" races all across the country.
Barbour says he'd likely sign a bill to ban most abortions in Mississippi.
South Dakota bill would ban all abortions.
Missouri senator files bill to ban abortions.
Michigan Attorney General files brief in Partial-Birth Abortion Ban Appeal.
When are voters across the Bible Belt going to wake up and see the light?
Every year during elections, the GOP pulls this same stunt. These are often "horse and pony show" legislation that are often unneeded by states' constitutions and only geared to get people all emotional.
Dear GOP, do this as a favor.
I have an easy drama fix. Watch 24 or House on FOX and quit wasting our time and tax dollars.
Unfortunately, people in this country love drama. They also like to be used as tools by career politicians that really couldn't care less what they think.
People fall for the same mindless posturing every year so I doubt much will ever change.
